I have several friends and relatives in Mindanao. I was so shocked and felt heartbroken when I heard about the current death toll of the tropical storm Sendong. Tropical storm Sendong or Washi hit several regions in Mindanao on Saturday, bringing strong winds and heavy rains. My friends in Cagayan de Oro City were badly affected by the flash flood due to Typhoon Sendong (Washi).

I was just done watching the preview trailer of Praybet Benjamin 2011 movie on Youtube. Praybeyt Benjamin is a 2011 Filipino comedy film released in October 26, 2011 (and had reached 29 million pesos on its first day) produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films starring Vice Ganda with the title-role. When I woke up today, dear hubby told me not to ever upload pictures from my phone online and turn off GPS as well. Like any father, he's not comfortable as well of posting our kid's photos on the internet, particularly in my blogs. According to the news report, pictures or photos you've e-mailed or uploaded from your smartphone or mobile phone could leak information which could threaten your safety or that of your kids. Pretty scary, isn't it?

I don't know about you, but I'm so looking forward to watch The Walking Dead Season 2. Finally, the wait is over! "The Walking Dead" is back with season 2 full of action, horror and suspense. The Walking Dead starring Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Jeffrey DeMunn, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs. I can't wait to see it!

Yesterday, dear hubby told me to get in touch with one of our friend to ask her if she could watch the kids on October 21st. I really didn't know, so I asked him why. Then, he told me that we're going to a Journey with Foreigner and Night Ranger concert at Key Arena, Seattle, Washington. Boy, you had no idea how ecstatic I am. We saw Journey with Heart and Cheap Tricks three years ago, however we can't wait to see them again on the 21st. This will be our early wedding anniversary night out.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 37,513 out of 78,135 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Nueva Ecija, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last July 2011.

Here are the July 2011 Top 10 NLE (Nurse Licensure Examination) | Top 10 Nurse Licensure Examination July 2011:
1) Jomel Garcia Lapides from University of the Philippines (UP) topped with 88.40 percent.
2) Hazel Cortes Crisostomo and Beverly Lynne Yao Ong from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) placed second with 87.40 percent.
3) Ivy Grace Cuadra Lim of Far Eastern University (FEU) placed third with 87.20 percent

I was just done watching the music video of Fallin by Sarah Geronimo (Catch Me, I'm In Love theme song), an upcoming romantic-comedy movie starring Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson directed by Mae Cruz, under Star Cinema and Viva Films. Catch Me, I’m in Love will premiere on March 23. In fairness, Sarah and Gerald have chemistry on-screen based on the video. I can't wait to watch the movie.

I rarely rant in my blog or in person but if I do, that means I had enough. If it happens once, then it's fine. But I can't take it if it happens more than once. Like what happened yesterday. After Marshalls, the whole family went to McDonalds. The kids got their usual cheese burgers and chocolate milk. While I ordered grilled chicken sandwich. Like what they did so many times, they messed up my order again. I ordered grilled chicken sandwich but they gave me crispy chicken sandwich instead. Why can't they get my order right? It's so annoying. Again, this happens more than once. So meaning, they never failed to messed up our orders. It seems like they didn't even bother to check any orders or anything. I hate to say it, but their customer service sucks!

Super excited for the Miss Universe 2010 Pageant. I decided to stay up late to watch 2010 Miss Universe Pageant on NBC. Miss Universe 2010, the 59th edition of the pageant will be held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. on August 23, 2010. Hosted by Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales. Stefanía Fernández from Venezuela, will crown her successor at the end of this event.

Finally watched the Toy Story 3 movie trailer on Youtube. Casts include Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Jodi Benson, Michael Keaton, Joan Cusack, and many more. When dear daughter saw the trailer, she kept asking me if she can watch it on DVD. I told her she should ask her daddy instead. After all, he's the boss! Anyway, I am planning to add the movie in the queue later.

Last week, our desktop was acting up and the windows didn't load properly. Dear hubby said, maybe it's time to get a new one. Few months ago, I really wanted to buy a new DSLR but he hinted that he's been planning to buy a new stuff for me. I guess he was talking about the HP Pavilion dv6-3013cl Entertainment Notebook PC. No wonder he just smiled every time I mentioned about the DSLR thing.

Last Monday, June 28th, we decided to go to the computer store and purchased my new laptop. I was supposed to get the Dell laptop but decided to get the HP Pavilion dv6-3013cl Entertainment Notebook PC instead since it has a bigger screen.
