Miss Universe 2011, the 60th anniversary of the Miss Universe pageant was held at the Credicard Hall, in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011. Ximena Navarrete of Mexico crowned her successor Miss Universe 2011 winner Angola Leila Lopes.

| Watching Miss Universe 2010 Live |
Super excited for the Miss Universe 2010 Pageant. I decided to stay up late to watch 2010 Miss Universe Pageant on NBC. Miss Universe 2010, the 59th edition of the pageant will be held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. on August 23, 2010. Hosted by Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales. Stefanía Fernández from Venezuela, will crown her successor at the end of this event. Labels: Miss Universe, News, Television |

| Miss Universe Japan 2009 Emiri Miyasaka National Costume Scandal |
It's way past my bedtime but here I am watching SNN or Showbiz News Ngayon on TFC (The Filipino Channel). I didn't really pay too much attention what's on the news but I was curious when they showed Miss Universe Japan 2009 Emiri Miyasaka pictures regarding the Miss Universe 2009 National Costume scandal. According to the news, many Japanese are disappointed with the National costume of Emiri Miyasaka, Miss Japan Universe 2009. See Miss Japan Universe 2009 National Costume in Kimono.

| Dayana Mendoza Is Miss Universe 2008 |
Miss Venezuela was crowned Miss Universe 2008 on Monday in a contest marked by the spectacle of Miss USA falling down during the evening gown competition for the second year in a row.
An elated Dayana Mendoza received the crown from her predecessor, Riyo Mori of Japan, and then prepared to meet a gaggle of reporters. Miss Venezuela, 22, was once kidnapped in her homeland and says the experience taught her to remain poised under pressure.
