Walgreens Prescription Savings Club has been launched as part of Walgreen’s effort to ease the burden that customers are experiencing when the contract between Walgreens and Express Scripts ended. A family membership of only $10 a year covers everyone in your immediate family, which includes your spouse, dependents that are under 22 years old and even your pets. Individual membership is for $5. Members of Prescription Savings Club are eligible to avail of the many benefits that the club offers including savings on over 8,000 brand name and all generic medications and discounts on flu shots and pet prescriptions as well as huge discounts on purchases of nebulizers and diabetic supplies. Through the Prescription Savings Club, Walgreens hopes to continue to provide their customers with the most convenient way to avail of every type of pharmacy services that they need.
