T-shirts which once was just men's underwear became awkwardly famous after wearing them on TV (somewhere between year 1950s) by some American actors. With the advancement of screen printing on year 1960s, it gives people the freedom to print t-shirts, and so people saw that it could be a remunerative business. Athletes and Rock and Roll bands makes tremendous profits out of t-shirts business back in those days.

T-shirts are still the best Americans wardrobe because up to these days, you can see celebrities and TV personalities wear their "message shirts" to convey message or to communicate to the public. I have bunch of funny t-shirts with funny quotes like "I'm smarter than the person beside me" or "I know I'm pretty, but I'm taken!" It's funny to wear them around and when you happen to pass by a person on an opposite way, you can see her/him trying to read the print on your shirt. Sometimes you can see them smirk or sometimes they just look at you and smile, its fun and amazing to know how funny t-shirts work!

I've bought myself some expensive and fancy clothes or blouses in boutiques but nothing can beat the "comfy" feelings I had wearing t-shirts, which only costs me few bucks, far more affordable than the cute blouses I have. I wear my funny t-shirts to shopping, do groceries, or when I'm running and even wear it when I meet my girlfriends.

It could be a nice a perfect gifts especially to guys. I know they love it because I always surprise my male cousins and friends with funny t-shirts, and you can see their faces as they open their gift box with that t-shirt inside. I was searching online for something to give as gift to my friend who will be celebrating his birthday when I came across to woolrich jackets. I actually like it the moment I saw it. My friend mentions that he is looking for woolrich clothing because he wanted to buy a couple of shirt. He mention that the last time he buy this is almost two years ago when he visit his relative in America. In the Philippines, it has been somehow a custom that in the months of February and March, schools will hold their Junior and Senior promenade or what is commonly known as the “JS Prom. Some schools hold their Homecoming or Reunion. Usually in March, graduation ball happens. This is one of the activities where graduating students cannot say NO to. They normally like prepare themselves to be part of that great and exciting celebration where they are able to say goodbye to high school and say hello to the sleepless nights of entering college or the university.

Well, these youngsters don’t want to wear just the typical clothes, I must say. Most young people nowadays believe and think that they must buy their own dress for the prom, or get a tailored dress or tuxedo to look perfect for the dance. I cannot agree with them that much. Clothing is expensive. There's no doubt about that. You work hard every day to make sure your family has clothing and the other things they need, then you are disappointed when the clothing wears out too quickly, gets tears, or stains. Last Tuesday, we decided to go to Seafood City and Chowking in Westfield Southcenter. For those of you who doesn't know yet, Westfield Southcenter is in Seattle, Washington. Men, that place was packed with people. There were big lines everywhere! After lunch, we decided to stroll in the mall. While I was busy in XXI, the husband was also busy checking out some of men's polo shirts in his favorite store but left since there was a big crowd. He didn't want to wait that long and fall in line for an hour or so. Yeah, he's very spoiled...

As I already mentioned in my other blog entry, both dear hubby and I gained weight. I started gaining weight last December. Honestly, I was very happy. Well, I've been petite my whole life and gaining extra pounds was like impossible due to my fast metabolism. As I started gaining weight, my belly started getting bigger too. I weighed myself yesterday and I gained another pound. So far, I gained sixteen (16) pounds within four months. My pants doesn't fit anymore. Last Sunday, hubby and I decided to go shopping. I bought some pair of jeans (size 3). I used to wear size 0. My dear husband kept telling me to watch my food intake. I'm not sure if I can keep my current weight but let's see what happens.

When we were expecting with our first child, our friends gave tons of baby clothes and other stuff. Our closet was full of baby clothes and has been sitting there for months.
