Being In Love
When you're in love you never really know whether your elation comes from the qualities of the one you love or if it attributes them to him; whether the light which surrounds him like a halo comes from you, from him, or from the meeting of your sparks.
Often people attempt to live their lives backwards. They try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do in order to have what you want.
I love Inihaw na Baboy (Grilled Marinated Pork) because this is very easy to do. Instead of pork chop, I prefer to use pork belly or porkloin.
Ingredients:
1 kg (2 lb) pork belly
Cloves of 1 head of garlic, crushed
125 ml (½ cup) 7-Up or Sprite
125 ml (½ cup) vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
Freshly ground black pepper
Vinegar-Soy Dip
1 medium onion, finely diced
250 ml (1 cup) vinegar
125 ml (½ cup) soy sauce
Freshly ground pepper
1 sliced finger chili (optional)
Procedure:
1. Slice pork belly lengthwise about 2 cm wide.
2. Combine garlic, Sprite or 7-Up, vinegar, sugar and pepper in a bowl. Pour over pork belly. Cover and marinate 3 to 4 hours in refrigerator.
3. When ready to cook, drain pork and discard marinade. Heat grill to medium and grill pork until thoroughly cooked, about 15 to 20 minutes on the first side and 10 minutes on the second side..
4. To make the Vinegar-Soy Dip, combine the onion, vinegar, soy sauce and pepper in a bowl. Stir to blend. For a spicier dip, add the sliced chili, if desired.
5. Serve the grilled pork with the dip and cooked white rice.
Finally, I was able to do some layout for this month. It was my 3rd layout so far lol. I knew it's not a lot but it's better than nothing...right? I just hope tuloy tuloy na ito. I missed scrapping so much.

Last night, dear hubby and I were searching for a weekly rates hotel/motels in Edmonton, Canada but couldn't find any. We spent hours of looking but to no avail. So we're frustrated. Our 2 week vacation will be on July 12nd and we really need to find some place to stay. Hindi rin naman kami maka-stay sa apartment ng cousin ko since they have 3 grown up kids at saka maliit lang apartment nila.
Ingredients:
6 to 8 skinless, boneless chicken breasts halves
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 1/4 cups water
1 package frozen mixed vegetables
2 cups rotini (corkscrew) pasta, uncooked
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, saute the chicken in oil over medium heat until browned on all sides. Remove chicken and set aside.
2. Add the soup, water and vegetables to skillet. Heat to a boiling and add uncooked pasta to soup mixture; stir to combine.
3. Return chicken to skillet, cover and cook over medium low heat for 15 minutes or until chicken is done and pasta is tender. Stir occasionally.

My day isn’t that bad as I thought. I feel better physically. I guess my morning sickness is almost over…hurray! I can’t wait. Sus grabe, I never had this problem before when I was pregnant with my dear daughter 3 years ago. But I’m lovin’ it.
And oh, I’ll be busy this afternoon because I have so many things to do. I have to finish my other projects, chores, and etc. Never ending journey. Dear hubby told me not to move so much but it’s so boring if I just I sit all day.
I have nothing to do this afternoon so I went to Youtube and checked out some Tagalog shows. Luckily, I found this new Sineserye entitled “May Minamahal” starring Oyo Boy Sotto and Anne Curtis. May Minamahal is the third installment of Sineserye Presents. It was a film in 1993 produced by Star Cinema. And now it is turned into a TV series by ABS-CBN. It’s rough translation in English is “Loving Someone”
The story is about the only son Carlitos suddenly finds himself the man of an all-female household when his father dies of heart attack. He falls in love with an offbeat girl Monica and is forced to make a choice between following his heart or risk losing the love of the family which has nurtured him all his life. Monica grew up in a male-dominated household. Her witty and free-spirited attitude caught the attention of Carlitos. Carlitos on the other hand, lives in a female dominated household, where everyone depends on him. They start to get to know each other more everyday, hang out together and share each other’s feelings. And as they draw closer to each other, they start to fall in love. Little did they know that their family ties will be the factor that will make or break their budding relationship.
Look what I got this morning! Oh my, I can't believe I got this from PPP. I mean I didn't expect to get something from them but I'm so happy that my wish came true. My dear hubby really wanted to get the Police CD and I've been looking at Ebay for some CD but couldn't find it. Absolutely a perfect Father's Day for him!
I watched the second episode of Abt Ur Luv, Luv Lyf 2 today. It wasn't as good noong nandon pa sila Rayver at Shaina pero okay. I'll still watch the show kasi love ko ang ABS. Because of the show's good ratings, they decided to have a second season entitled, Star Magic Presents: Abt Ur Luv, Ur Lyf 2. The show added more cast including Erich Gonzales, John Wayne Sace and some Star Magic batch 15 teens.
As usual, I'm so bored here to death. So I decided to watch the movie called "The Highwayman" on CWII starring Stephen McHattie, Laura Harris and Jason Priestly. The story is about a psychotic thief who embarks on a deadly road trip with a carload of cash, his accomplice and the beautiful girl who tipped them off to the Big Score. With their help, she's on a mission to find her long-lost father, who wants to settle a score with a former boss and has the cops hot on his trial. A dark, comedic thriller about fraud, bank robbers and a search for love.
As usual, I was so tired to do anything today. I felt sleepy all the time. Both dear daughter and I took a short nap. She usually takes 2-3 hours nap every day but not today. She was cold. Poor girl. I forgot to turn the heater up. It's been raining since yesterday and I didn't like it. It's so boring.
I was so busy for the past few days, I'm kind of happy and content if I can make 1 layout every two weeks or even a month lol. So now, I'm so happy at last may nagawa akong bagong layout.
We missed church today because we went to Marysville to pick up our orders "Puto" and "Empanada" para sa Baby Shower. It was a potluck. As always, ang daming pagkain. I pigged out again!
I bought some leftovers and I think it will be good for a week. Too much food. I did tell my dear hubby to bring some for work since may co-workers sya na mga Pinoy din.

Okay, this is my baby's new pinagka-abalahan. She loves stickers so much. Ang cute talaga nya lalong lalo na pag napupuno na yung face nya ng stickers. Well, blame it to my dear hubby for introducing her to stickers!
And of course, she also put some stickers to daddy's face....
I always love Robert De Niro and Matt Damon. They're one my favorite actors. Last night, we watched "The Good Shepherd" and it was really good.
Edward Wilson played by Matt Damon, the only witness to his father's suicide and member of the Skull and Bones Society while a student at Yale, is a morally upright young man who values honor and discretion, qualities that help him to be recruited for a career in the newly founded Office of Strategic Services (OSS, the predecessor of the Central Intelligence Agency). While working there, his ideals gradually turn to suspicion influenced by the Cold War paranoia present within the office. Eventually, he becomes an influential veteran operative, while his distrust of everyone around him increases to no end. His dedication to his work does not come without a price though, leading him to sacrifice his ideals and eventually his family.
If you haven't seen the movie, you should go and watch it! It's really good :)
Wow, can't believe it! Time sure flies really fast and it's June already! Well, last few weeks, our weekends was very very tiring. I mean, we went to parties, ball games, etc. Since I'm pregnant, I didn't like the smell of an engine. So, I was kinda tired of it but it's good for Lilly so that she can interact with other kids. We don't want her to stay home all the time. She really needs it! So tiis nalang muna si buntis sa ngayon. Hopefully, my morning sickness will be over soon.
Appetizer Name something you think is “the best.”
- God
Soup On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 highest), how stressed are you today?
- Since I am pregnant, I can't eat as much as I used to eat because of the morning sickness. So I rated it 3.
Salad What kind of cleanser do you use to wash your face?
- None
Main Course Tonight is a blue moon! What is something that you believe only happens “once in a blue moon.”
- That my father will quit drinking for "good".
Dessert When was the last time it rained where you live?
- Last week (Thursday, May 24th)
