Most people who are living alone would choose to have pets. Having a pet to greet you when you come home after a hard day at work can be very comforting. My pet lover best-friend has five dogs right now. I can’t help but admire her with the way she takes care of them. I’d tell myself, no wonder dogs are man’s best friend if they’re cared the way my BFF does. They are really treated like human beings, and it amazes me how her dogs love her back. They’re like family.

I have recently come across a news item about the slaughtering of sled dogs.  An organization that fights animal abuse as well as the police is now investigating the incident as to what really happened.  Allegedly, these 100 dogs died of gunshot wounds and their throats were slit.  Too cruel isn’t it?  Further investigation will tell what really happened and hopefully will give justice to those 100 dogs.  There are a lot of speculations about the knowledge of the owner of the company where the dogs came from.   Good thing is that the company accepts the moral responsibilities of what had happened. Investigation will tell the real story and the truth will soon come out.

I still remember when Boone was still alive. He's a very active dog and had some problems. Our dog Boone is a pure breed Schnauzer and he's been having some health issues recently. He was limping the other day and I'm not exactly sure what's going on.
