I know you've seen quite a handful of those "Sorry for the inconvenience, we are under Renovation" signs everywhere. You will see in the road inconveniently closed for renovation or around the malls when there are shops undergoing repair. Am sure most of us will not venture past the white, black or whatever color covering that blocks the rest of that room from people's view.
But for the adventurous in the rest of us, am sure there will be lots of surprises in store for you once you are inside. Debris and construction clutter, piece of scrap metals or scraps of woods, depending on which part and which materials the construction men are currently working on, loads of precaution and warning signs, as accidents are frequent in these areas, that's why safety gears and hardhats are always recommended, and just an overwhelming amount of noise.
The sound coming from the concrete floor grinder or the concrete polisher and the ones made by the carpenter hammering on the walls, or cutting a piece of wood, or the chatters from the people in charge of carpet removal all make one odd cacophony and this could either be pleasant or not depending on your decibel-tolerance.
The next time you see the Under Construction sign, ask yourself if you are brave enough to venture forth, who know what wonders you will discover once inside? Labels: Blogging, Home and Garden |
