The company that I am working for has finally bought thebackup generators that the company needs. The old backup generator has actually failed several times already that is why they have decided to buy new ones. For a company that deals with technology and communications, it is important that the supply of electricity is constant.
I actually remembered the times when there was a shortage of power supply and we had to go through scheduled power interruptions. A lot of work has been delayed. The company has lost a lot during that time which even resulted in the forced resignation or termination of some employees.
The company has learned a lot from that experience that is why they have invested in backup generators. Even if it may seem costly at first, the security it brings cannot be equalled. We are now sure that whatever happens, we will be able to finish our work load for the day. This will also bring job security in the long run because we know that the company will not suffer from any unnecessary loses. This has actually made me wonder if home standby generators as expensive as well. I wish I can purchase one for our home because I know that it will come in handy during emergency situations.
