Angel I Love You |
As usual, I'm bored to death so I was surfing the net and luckily I found this beautiful movie "Angel I Love You" on CrunchyRoll.
Summary:
Xin (Roy Chiu) and Xiaoyue (Tammy Chen Yirong) first meet at their university's orientation. Both fall for each other at first sight. However, Xin lack of initiative causes Xiaoyue much confusion and distress.
One of the games played during orientation is "Guardian Angel". Xin is arranged to be Xiaoyue's guardian angel, and thus has an excuse to watch over her with every possible ounce of care and concern.
Xin plans to express his feelings to Xiaoyue during the orientation party by preparing a small note from the "Guardian Angel" game, bearing the words "I will be your guardian angel forever". But the note that Xin has prepared for Xiaoyue remains undelivered.
Years later, Xiaoyue is now a well-known jewellery designer. She moves into a condominium only to discover that the place has also been leased to a playboy named Feng (Qi Yuwu). Both parties refuse to give way. At this point, Yan (Roy Chiu in a dual role) appears and claims he is here to handle tenancy and rental problems. With his gift of the gab, he manages to convince the two to come to a compromise and live together as flatmates.
Okay, I'd better go and watch the rest of the movie. Have a great Monday everyone.

What A Day |
All of us didn't get enough sleep from the fireworks last night. Gosh, I'm glad it's over now. We were so busy today. We ran some errands, then went to the department store to buy some maternity clothes that I can use for our trip to Edmonton, Canada next week. I can't wear pants anymore because they're too small for me.
On our way home, I took the back way because I don't like the "freeway". Here comes the worse part...On the "4 way stop", the car started making some weird noises and the engine won't start anymore. Gosh, I can't believe it happened to me. It's good thing dear hubby was there. He pushed the car to the shoulder. Then we called "Triple A" and we waited and waited for 1 1/2 hours. Luckily, the tow truck driver gave us a free ride to the Toyota shop. Funny thing was, dear hubby just took the car to the shop last Monday and the guy said there was no problem with it...then, today....tumirik lol. Ano ba yan? Good thing the guy there gave us a discount.

File Sharing |
Two years ago, I found out about file sharing. Since I love watching Asian dramas and movies, I was happy that I can download my favorite shows or movies from P2P file sharing network. File sharing is the practice of making files available for other users to download over the Internet and smaller networks. Usually file sharing follows the peer-to-peer (P2P) model, where the files are stored on and served by personal computers of the users. Most people who engage in file sharing are also downloading files that other users share.
A lot of people might already already that there are tons of file sharing network available nowadays. One of them is Driveway. Driveway is a new free web based service for online file sharing. Most email systems such as gmail have limits on file sizes you can use as attachments and up to 500MB in size and unlimited total storage for sharing with no download limits.Labels: Blogging |

Deja Vu |
Deja Vu is a science fiction crime thriller directed by Tony Scott and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film was released on November 22, 2006. But I just had the chance to watch this movie last night. I always like Denzel Washington because he's a good actor. The movie was okay. But it was funny because my dear hubby was falling asleep. Well, he's sleep deprived (2 nights) for working overtime so yun ata ang dahilan.
Denzel Washington plays Doug Carlin, an ATF offical who is called in to recover evidence in the investigation of a New Orleans ferry bombing. After finding evidence that shows it was terrorism, Doug finds the body of Claire Kuchever played by Paula Patton staged to look as if she too died in the bombing. Investigating the possible lead, Doug heads to her house to gather evidence. While there, he discovers blood soaked gauze and towels and a message on her refrigerator saying "U CAN SAVE HER." Upon playing back the messages on her answering machine, he finds out that she called his office shortly before the bombing. Also, although he had gloves on, his colleagues tell him that he has been careless, leaving lots of fingerprints in the house. Confused, he helps the FBI with the ferry investigation and finds out his partner was also killed in the bombing even though his partner was apparently away on vacation. FBI Agent Pryzwarra (Val Kilmer) recruits him to participate in a special task force, in the process revealing a futuristic device that allows one to observe anywhere four days and six hours in the past. According to the investigative team's explanation, the device (which is supposedly a composite of satellite images and other surveillance) can not be fast forwarded or rewound due to the immense volumes of data being streamed. In other words, the team has a single opportunity to look into the past before the data is lost. Pryzwarra's team asks Doug to show them where to look in order to catch the culprit responsible for the ferry bombing. As they wait for the four days to happen so as to witness the ferry bombing, Doug has them watch Claire and discovers how she came to be involved; the bomber wanted to buy her car to use for the bombing.
If you haven't seen the movie, you should watch it. Maganda sya lalo na doon sa mga mahilig sa action film :)
