Tips for Surviving Flights to London

Is the length of the flights to London holding you back from making that overseas trip? Use these tips for surviving flights to London so you can make the trip and enjoy it in the process.

Book Space

If you can swing the cost of first class, then you’ll automatically have more room than those in economy seats. If you have to book economy, opt for an aisle seat so you have the aisle to spread out a bit more. Having more room to stretch is going to make the flight a bit more on the comfortable side.

Pack Food and Snacks

Plane food can cause a myriad of uncomfortable issues. For international flights to London, pack your food and snacks. Eating your own food helps your tummy stay full, and it can ensure you won’t run into any problems with the plane food giving you issues while flying.

Bring Entertainment

Flights to London go by much faster when you have something to keep you busy. Even if you plan on sleeping the whole flight, pack books, magazines, a deck of playing cards, crossword puzzles, and other items to keep you busy and entertained.

Stay Comfortable

Try to wear loose fitting clothes and dress in layers. If you’re hot, you can remove layers. When you settle into your seat, kick off your shoes and get comfortable. Try to get up and move around periodically to keep the blood circulating and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Have a Positive Attitude

Your attitude plays a big part in how comfortable flights to London are going to be. Make the best of your time on board. Have a positive attitude as you board the plane and embark on your trip. This, along with following the other tips, is going to make your London flight as pleasurable as possible. Of course, resting in one of the luxurious top London hotels is the best way to relax and soothe your tired body from the long trip.
