Actually, it was dear hubby who saw the news about Mike Tyson daughter's death. According to the news, Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter Exodus died at a hospital Tuesday, a day after her neck apparently got caught in a treadmill cord at her Phoenix home. Police said Exodus either slipped or put her head in the loop of a cord hanging under the console. Her 7-year-old brother found her and told their mother. She took Exodus off the cord, called 911 and tried to revive her. Responding officers and firefighters performed CPR as they took the girl to the hospital. Former heavyweight champion Tyson was in Las Vegas at the time of the accident and flew Monday to Phoenix, where he was seen entering the hospital.
You know, this incident both scared me and my dear hubby. We have two kids and as a parents, we always try to do our best. Every day, dear hubby always remind me to keep an eye on the children especially when they're playing or doing something. We can't hide the fact that home can be one of the most dangerous places for kids. "Children are much more likely to be injured in the home than any other location. According to Dawn Lee Garzon, an assistant professor at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Nursing and child safety expert., and injury is the leading cause of death, disability, and hospitalization of young kids.
