This is part of the tragedy. I can understand why this guy must justify the war in his head...because he lost his leg. Otherwise, he lost his leg for nothing. We went into that war thinking that there were weapons of mass destruction, which there were not...therefore we have no business being there.

everyone wants to blame Bush for the war. the fact is, CONGRESS approved the war, period. and if they didn't check the facts, well, that's their problem and conscience. Bill Clinton was also calling for "regime change," but is was just lip-service--as was so common in his administration. Just so you know, OBAMA has said that he will remove "combat troops" by such and such a date. That will leave some 50,000 "non-combat" troops.

Remember this: the Congress that approved the war were voted in by: YOU AND ME. the war happened. get over it. now, we must support our troops, unlike Obama. Why didn't he visit the injured troops during his barn-storming trip thru Europe and the Middle East recently? Answer: because he DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE TROOPS--just like all the so-called Liberals and "progressives".

The war happened; get over it. And you should "root" for America, instead of being an "arm-chair General" and looking down your nose at this country (the best there is--even if you don't want to believe it).

Obama is a socialist/communist at heart (just check his associations). He believes the typical socialist lie: It has never worked, but only because I wasn't the one doing it. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
