It is good to know that there are schools that conduct programs and activities that promote positive values for their students. There are schools that work with various charitable institutions that are engaged in charitable works. They visit communities that are mostly made up indigent families. They would assess the current situation of the community and from there they can determine what kind of assistance they would need. If a certain community need prescription assistance programs, then they would schedule one immediately.
Prescription assistance is given to those who do not have the ability to purchase the medicines that they need. Students are given the chance to observe how these programs are conducted.
At certain cases, they are also given the chance to assist like keeping a record or list of those who avail of the program. Students are given a first-hand look of how important it is for some people to receive discount prescription drugs. Programs such as these teach the students the value of sharing one's blessings and of helping those in need in any way they can. Schools hope that by instilling proper values, students will be able to contribute and give back to the communities where they belong.
