| As a mother, my heart bled upon hearing the case of James Bulger--the two-year-old child who was abducted, tortured and killed by two ten-year-old boys in England. It had been said that James was abducted while out in a shopping complex with his mother. Now, I am going completely insane just imagining myself in the same predicament. Because of this, I told my husband that we may have to reinforce the security of our kids. It is a blessing in disguise that I work from home and can keep an eye on my daughter and son 24/7. It is another matter, however, if they are not by my side. I can only do so much. I am just hoping and praying that the school where my kids go to will keep them out of harm's way. To be on the safe side, my husband and I are seriously considering the matter of keeping a criminal attorney on retainer.
